The Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Ambassador-at-Large of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry Vito Grittani. The meeting was also attended by the Representative Plenipotentiary of the Republic Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman.
The participants discussed a wide range of mutual working directions based on the results of the last visit of Vito Grittani in Pridnestrovie. Particularly, the guest informed about the official meetings held at the Ministry of Health Care of the PMR and the perspectives of implementing a number of current projects within it.
In his turn, Vitaly Ignatiev expressed his gratitude for the Ambassador’s attention towards development of contacts with Pridnestrovie and for special practical initiatives for the peoples’ benefit. In this context, the Head of the MFA expressed a special thanks to the Representative Plenipotentiary of the Republic Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman for his full assistance to the visit of Vito Grittani.
Continuing, the sides reviewed the possibility of implementing a number of projects in the field of social protection and academic cooperation at the university level. Special attention was paid to prospects of the Pridnestrovian participation in the Friends of Abkhazia Association, established in March 2019.
In conclusion, the sides confirmed their willingness to further open and constructive dialogue.
