On November 1, 2019, Expert (Working) Groups on Regulatory and Documentary Support from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova resumed their activity one year later at the OSCE Mission Office in Kishinev.
During the meeting, the sides touched upon some pressing issues, affecting the people who live in Pridnestrovie and in Moldova. One of the main expert working direction was to agree on a personal data integrated information exchange mechanism. In this context, the experts discussed the information exchange between the civil registry offices and thus, agreed to initiate concrete proposals in the nearest future.
The Pridnestrovian side paid particular attention to the outstanding issue of obtaining information on unattended children who live in Pridnestrovie from the Moldovan civil registry offices.
Following the meeting, the heads of delegations confirmed their willingness to intensify the contacts in order to reach unified approaches to an optimal interaction mechanism for specialized bodies for the public good.
