On April 24, 2019, the OSCE Office in Chisinau hosted a meeting of expert (working) groups on telecommunications and postal service. The representatives of mediators and observers in the negotiation process attended the meeting.
During the meeting the parties discussed the challenging issue of the delivery of periodicals from the Russian Federation to Pridnestrovie as well as optimization of mutual settlements on postal service.
The experts of the parties also discussed the previously submitted proposals on the parameters of further cooperation, providing for the settlement of the problematic issues.
After the meeting, the Pridnestrovian side called on to prevent blocking the delivery of periodicals from the Russian Federation to Pridnestrovie until the settlement of the issue.
