Today, on January 31, 2018, a meeting of expert (working) groups on economic issues was held in the Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission. At the meeting, the parties finalized and initialed the draft Protocol Decision on cooperation in the field of veterinary, quarantine and plant protection at the level of the leaders of expert (working) groups. The document, subject to further signing, establishes principles of cooperation between the competent bodies of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova in the field of veterinary safety, trade in goods subject to veterinary and phytosanitary control, as well as joint actions to prevent spread of quarantine plants.
At the same time, representatives of Pridnestrovie informed Moldovan colleagues about implementation of the Protocol Decision “On some measures to settle issues related to implementation of the “2006 Mechanism” on the use of agricultural land located in the Dubossary region over the Tiraspol-Kamenka roadway”, signed on November 25, 2017.
Other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting as well.
