In Pridnestrovie attention was drawn to mass media reports regarding the speech of Mr. Osipov at the Summit of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe held on December, 1 and 2, 2010, in Astana.
Making the level of representation at such a significant forum a matter of conscience of the Moldovan side, we cannot but note that the given statements are inconsistent with the commitments made earlier by the Republic of Moldova, including those voiced at the recent review conference on confidence and security building measures in the Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Unfounded accusations against the Pridnestrovien side, regular calls to change the format of the peacekeeping operation without regard to the results of the settlement cannot but influence relations between the two equal parties to the conflict.
