Moscow hosted a meeting between PMR’s President Yevgeny Shevchuk and the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Special Representative of the Russian Federation in the 5+2 format Sergey Gubarev.
Let us recall, the Head of State is on a working visit to the capital of the Russian Federation.
During today’s meeting the sides discussed the current state of negotiation process in the 5+2 format. In the framework of the dialogue the President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk and the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev pointed out the official letter of PMR’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, political representative in the negotiating process Vitaly Ignatiev with an offer to hold the 5+2 meeting until the year ends. The President of Pridnestrovie expressed hope that the other members of the format react promptly to this offer.
The sides also discussed some parameters of the Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation.
