Pridnestrovie’s Foreign Ministry opened an exhibition of Pridnestrovian artist, teacher of Tiraspol’s children's art school Olga Rudenko. The event was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov, Chairman of the Pridnestrovian Union of Artists Sergei Panov, as well as representatives of the creative community of Pridnestrovie.
Olga Rudenko is a participant of international, republican and city exhibitions. This year marks her 30 years as a teacher and 15 years as an artist.
Opening the exhibition, Igor Shornikov noted that it was not the first time the Foreign Ministry hosted the Rudenkos’ exhibitions. “Before the Foreign Ministry held solo exhibitions of Mikhaïl and Emiliya Rudenko, and we are pleased that in Pridnestrovie there are such wonderful creative families,” the diplomat said.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has cooperated with Pridnestrovian artists since 2012, tries to hold new exhibitions regularly. It is a valuable experience that fully creates the positive image of our country. Every time foreign ministry’s guests are interested in the works of Pridnestrovian artists, it is a great honour for us,” stressed Igor Shornikov.
Tatyana Shuma, a member of the Pridnestrovian Union of Artists, in her turn, noted that Olga Rudenko is one of the most “poetic” artists of Pridnesttrovie. “Perhaps, nobody can collect the most beautiful things existing in our lives as she does. Each of her pictures fills the space with physical sensation of the sun, spring and joy,” said the artist.
At the conclusion of the event Olga Rudenko expressed special gratitude to the Foreign Ministry for the opportunity to present her works at the PMR's MFA.
The exhibition by Olga Rudenko will last at the Foreign Ministry for a month.
