Today, in the course of the ongoing visit of the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie to Moscow Vitaly Ignatiev met with Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs of the Russian Federation Aleksei Pushkov.
During the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev told about the current social and political situation in Pridnestrovie regarding measures of pressure taken by Moldova and Ukraine, as well as the possible cancellation from December 31, 2015 the Autonomous Trade Preferences for trade with the European Union and the potential harm to the individual economic entities of the republic.
Special attention was paid to the problems of regular intentional violations on the part of Moldova of the rights of Pridnestrovians, first of all, citizens of the Russian Federation. In this context, the sides discussed the ways of involving the potential of the State Duma of the Russian Federation to find ways to resolve the most pressing problems faced by Pridnestrovie today. Also during the meeting the sides exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation in the expert and information sphere.
