Deputy Prime Minister of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski on her Facebook page commented Vladimir Solovyov’s article untitled “Unrecognized republic recognized failures” published by the “Kommersant”.
“If I say it was not interesting for me to read this ridiculous smearing, then I tell lies. I read with great interest. It is interesting to observe as a serious journalist and, in my opinion, a talented interviewer Vladimir Solovyov stoops to the level of a “yellow bin”, setting up the quite influential editorial office of the “Kommersant”. I do not know what let him down. Whether overconfidence or laziness expressed in unwillingness to work on carefully and check the source of this calumny,” - said the Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie.
In this context, Nina Shtanski also emphasized that some “insider information” to which the reporter refers to in the article is very far from reality.
“I have met with Russia’s representatives only twice this spring. For the first time at the platform of the Austrian MFA at the 5+2 special informal meeting, for the second time - on the Victory Day celebrations in Tiraspol. Neither Ms. Glebova nor Russian senator Klimov, nor leaders of any Russian parties were at any meetings. I have not happened to travel to Moscow during spring and summer. Over these four years of working in the Foreign Ministry I have not had a chance to meet with respected comrade Zyuganov and Mr. Zhirinovsky, alas,” - she stated.
“Over 14 years of experience in politics and diplomacy I have often seen people like Volodya Solovyov who “were changing shoes” on the wing. The question “why” always arises ... Answers are rarely found. In this case, I'm sure, I will not know the answer,” - said the head of the Pridnestrovian diplomacy.
