Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the PMR for International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski met with Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan.
The sides discussed the current state of Moldova-Pridnestrovie relations and prospects of cooperation between the parties in the negotiation process. Nina Shtanski, in particular, stated not only the lack of progress in resolving the most sensitive issues in relations between the parties, but also the strengthening of the unilateral pressure on Pridnestrovie, particularly in the framework of a politically motivated prosecution of Pridnestrovian officials in Moldova.
“The economic situation in Pridnestrovie has continued to deteriorate, and the problem of politically motivated criminal cases has not found its solution, but has been covered with new, greatly disturbing subjects”, - said the diplomat.
