The Foreign Ministry held a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Moldova Pascal Vagogne and the delegation of the Economic Service for the CIS countries and Georgia of the French Embassy in Moscow. The delegation comprised of Deputy Head of the Economic Service for the CIS countries and Georgia, Financial Adviser Boris Kiselevsky and Deputy Financial Adviser Julien Gebel. The Pridnestrovian side also included representatives of the financial and economic sector of the republic.
During the meeting the guests were informed about the foreign economic activity of Pridnestrovie, its main areas, as well as the difficulties faced by Pridnestrovian economic agents today in the context of strengthening the blockade measures by Moldova and Ukraine.
In conclusion, the sides stressed the practical importance of direct contacts for objectively obtaining the information about the economic situation in Pridnestrovie and in the region as a whole.
