During the meeting between Political Representatives Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov held today in Kishinev, the parties discussed issues on the analysis of the previously reached agreements of the negotiation process and development of a document on guarantees of implementation of signed agreements. We remind that a common understanding that there is a need to carry out such work was reached during the previous meeting of the Permanent Conference on Political Issues and was supported by Special Representative of the Swiss OSCE Chairman-In-Office, Ambassador Radojko Bogojević. The parties agreed on the need to develop a functional mechanism of internal guarantees of implementation of the reached agreements. Pridnestrovian side proposed to determine a “start package” of previously reached agreements on the basis of agreed priorities which may be currently viewed as topical. This work will continue in the course of the forthcoming 5+2 meeting.
