Today, the PMR's MFA hosted a meeting with the working group ANO “Social and Industrial Food Service Institute” which is currently on a visit to the Republic within the framework of the project Social support to Pridnestrovie implemented through ANO “Dniester-Prut Centre of the RISS”. The Russian delegation included Oleg Shishov, Deputy Executive Director for Development and Oleg Averianov, Special Project Manager. The Pridnestrovian side included Svetlana Fadeeva, Minister of Education of the PMR, Gennady Yevstraty, Minister for Agriculture and Natural Resources of the PMR, Oksana Bulanova, Minister for Social Protection and Labour of the PMR, Tatyana Skrypnik, Minister of Health of the PMR, and Vitaly Ignatiev, Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR .
The sides discussed issues on functioning of the system of social feeding in Pridnestrovie, as well as proposals by the Russian side on the improvement of this important social aspect.
During the meeting Oleg Shishov reported that before starting his visit to Pridnestrovie he studied regulatory legal acts regarding social feeding in the Republic. The Russian guest highly appreciated the work of the leadership of the Republic in this sphere. “I was agreeably surprised at how detailed were the documents in this field and answered many questions,”- said Oleg Shishov. In this regard he highlighted the work of the Ministry of Health of the PMR. “Issues of feeding and health are indivisible. When I read the documents on child feeding security, the socially vulnerable population groups, I was amazed how seriously Pridnestrovian authorities took this issue,”-noted the representative of the Institution.
The outcome of the visit of the working group of ANO “Social and Industrial Food Service Institute” to Pridnestrovie should be collecting, analyzing of information needed for follow-up development of the substantive recommendations on modernization of the system of social feeding in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
