Today, the PMR's MFA hosted a meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for international cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Moldova Philippe Beke.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the Kingdom of Belgium, as well as current issues of the Pridnestrovian and Moldovan relationship in the context of the negotiation process.
Nina Shtanski also drew attention that the Belgium's experience in equal development of several official languages in the territory of the country can become a basis for scientific and expert cooperation between Belgium and Pridnestrovie. The diplomat focused in detail on the issue of Romanian-language schools in Latin script functioning in Pridnestrovie. She emphasized that difficulties faced today belong to the area of the administration and maintenance activity and should be solved with the key and responsible role of the founding authority of the school – the Government of Moldova.
