Today, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR hosted the meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and head of the UNDP Program “Civil Society Dialogues on Social and Economic Issues” Thomas Baranovas and Civil Society and Business Development Project Coordinator Victor Dragutsan. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of Tiraspol State Administration on social issues Natalya Shchukina.
During the meeting, UNDP officials informed about preliminary results and plans within the program “Civil Society Dialogues on Social and Economic Issues”.
The parties also discussed a number of promising areas of cooperation in social and economic spheres, among them – support for children at risk, work with the youth and the elderly, business and tourism development.
At the close of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for further development of practical cooperation in a number of socially important areas.
