On June, 25, 2009 a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of PMR Sergey Simonenko and Deputy Head of the British Embassy in Moldova John Mitchell.
During the meeting diplomats discussed issues related to the current situation in the settlement of Moldova-Pridnestrovie relations as well as efforts of guarantors and mediators made within the framework of confidence-building measures between Moldova and Pridnestrovie. Preliminary results of the seminar on confidence- and security-building measures which took place in Vienna on June, 21-22 on initiative of the OSCE also became topic of discussion in the course of meeting.
