The joint meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic took place today in the capital of Abkhazia.
It was mentioned in the course of the event that meetings in this format have not been held since 2007. Today Vyacheslav Chirikba, David Sanakoyev, Karen Mirzoyan, and Nina Shtanski discussed development and strengthening of inter-agency cooperation in the near future at the quadripartite meeting.
Pridnestrovian side put forward the initiative to resume the activity of the Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic and the Republic of South Ossetia which was suspended five years ago. According to Nina Shtanski, the first meeting could be held in the capital of Pridnestrovie. Those present agreed that the resumption of the Conference's activity would be a factor multiplying the efforts within the Eurasian integration process initiated under the leadership of the Russian Federation.
