As PMR's MFA press-service informed, yesterday an unique event took place in Pridnestrovie: with the assistance of foreign-political agency of Pridnestrovie, of the Council of Young Diplomats under the PMR's MFA, of the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel and of the T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University teleconference bridge was organized in order to acquaint population of the CIS countries with life in Pridnestrovie.
According to participants of video conference, such events are not only giving an outstanding platform for communication but also allow to learn more about culture of other countries and, what is especially important, to tell about our Republic.
As it was informed yesterday, during the first stage of the contest Pridnestrovian team prepared presentation about Pridnestrovie. Then, during the 20-minutes-long communication, rapid-fire questions were asked: people from Kamchatka were interested in issues of internal and foreign politics, culture, traditions, ethnic and religious composition of state, tourist potential, history of the Republic. Both the participants of “CIS” project, the jury and guests of the contest, among which was the representative of the Russia's MFA in the Kamchatka Krai, asked their questions. Pridnestrovian participants noted that today facilities are created in the Republic for development of creativity of Pridnestrovian youth, including possibility of political participation in process of decision-making.
Thus, according to representative of the Council of Young Diplomats under the PMR's MFA, overseer of the realization of the intellectual project “CIS” in Pridnestrovie, Vera Tabak, this video conference allows foreign-political agency to carry out recently adopted Foreign Policy Concept. In this document promotion of national brand name of Pridnestrovie and creation of advantageous information space around the Republic is defined as an important direction of work in information field. Young diplomat considers that such events have no financial outlays for state and at the same time the effects can be considerable.

The project is carried out under the auspices of the Government and the Legislative Assembly of Kamchatka krai, the Regional department of the all-Russian political party “United Russia”, the Russian civil society organization “Commonwealth”, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Kamchatka Krai representation of the International Slavic Council, Youth Government of Kamchatka Krai, civil society organization of the native peoples “Northerners' Friendship”.
