Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev received Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross for the Russian Federation, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine headed by regional diplomatic advisor of the ICRC Michel Masson. Participating in the meeting were also regional advisor of the ICRC for weapon contamination Herbi Elmazi and Consultant for weapon contamination Colin King.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues which are of mutual interest. In particular, interlocutors touched upon the matter of interaction in the humanitarian sphere and issues of building cooperation in the line of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The sides considered the possibility of carrying out activities, trainings and seminars assisted by the International Committee of the Red Cross based on the MES of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
In the course of the meeting other issues of bilateral cooperation were considered as well.
