On October 4, 2012, the meeting of Foreign Minister of the PMR Nina Shtanski with Governor of Moscow Region Sergey Shoigu took place. Participating in the meeting were also Dmitry Loskutov, Assistant to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government/Special Representative of Russian President for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin, and Sergey Gubarev, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian MFA.
In the course of the meeting issues of socio-economic development of Pridnestrovie were discussed, as well as topical issues of compatriots and citizens of the Russian Federation permanently residing in Pridnestrovie.
Participants outlined areas in which Pridnestrovie and Moscow Region are deliberate to develop trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation at interregional and inter-municipal levels.
The sides also discussed the possibility of establishing a joint working group which in the nearest future will develop a mid-term program of cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Moscow Region.
After the meeting Nina Shtanski, on behalf of the President of the PMR, conveyed congratulations to Sergey Shoigu on Moscow Region's Day celebrated on October 5 and wishes of dynamic development, prosperity and well-being to its citizens.
