On April 11, 2012 the meeting was held in the PMR's Ministry of Foreign Affairs devoted to issues of foreign economic activity of Pridnestrovian economic agents. Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski, Deputy Minister Vitaly Ignatiev, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alevtina Slinchenko, Head of State Service for Assistance in Investments and Business Activity Svetlana Malysheva, leadership of Chamber of Trade and Commerce of the PMR, heads of industrial enterprises of Pridnestrovie took place in the event.
Participants of the meeting discussed the most problematic issues which appear in activity of Pridnestrovian commodity producers in process of carrying out foreign economic activity and the possible ways of resolving these problems. In this context representatives of Pridnestrovian industrial enterprises stressed the perspectives of involving Pridnestrovie in integration processes in Eurasian space which have been initiated by the Russian Federation.
Pridnestrovian economic agents expressed their strong confidence in the necessity of directing strategic course of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, including economic sphere, towards close rapprochement with the Customs Union member-States. Participants of the meeting highly appreciated the potential and possibilities of the common market which is being created by the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
