On January 28, 2012, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic Nina Shtanski held a meeting with Director of the Institute of the CIS countries Konstantin Zatulin, who came in Pridnestrovien with a working visit.
Participating in the meeting was also acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaliy Ignatiev.
Interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest. Discussion of prospective directions of interaction between the PMR's MFA and the Institute of the CIS Countries in the network of bilateral Cooperation Agreement became basic topic of the meeting.
The participants of the meeting substantially discussed range of certain events and projects in research, informational, publishing spheres, also in the field of youth policy and journalism. Separate attention was paid to issues, connected with activity plan of Pridnestrovien department of the Institute of the CIS countries in Tiraspol.
The sides also discussed current events and contemporary foreign policy processes around Pridnestrovie.
Nina Shtanski accentuated priority nature of interaction of Pridnestrovien foreign office with such an authoritative structure as the Institute of the CIS countries, noticing long-term positive experience of joint activity and expressing confidence in future qualitative development of bilateral cooperation on a whole range of topical directions.
