The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is deeply concerned about the developments around the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
With pain in our hearts we receive the reports about the outbreak of a military operation in the conflict zone. We empathize with the brotherly people of Artsakh and believe that no political objectives or ambition can justify the use of weapons and the loss of human life.
We are convinced that the peaceful diplomatic tools to resolve the situation around the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic have not been exhausted yet. We call on all parties involved, including international mediators, to show wisdom, restraint, humanity and goodwill, to return urgently to the negotiating table and to adopt decisions that will stop the bloodshed and suffering of the civilian population.
