Today, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a meeting was held between PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Izabela Hartmann.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of the negotiation process. Vitaly Ignatiev noted the ongoing stagnation in the dialogue, characterized by the Republic of Moldova’s refusal to engage in systematic and substantive interaction with Pridnestrovie, as well as by Chisinau’s unilateral and destructive actions.
On August 25, another off-site consultative meeting of education experts from Pridnestrovie and Moldova was held in Rybnitsa.
The consultations focused on discussing the parameters of a technical assessment of the unfinished building located at 14 Gagarina Street in Rybnitsa, which is to be conducted to determine the feasibility of using the facility for educational purposes.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie took note of the accusatory remarks made by the President of neighboring Moldova, which lack any factual basis.
It is evident that the pre-election context is quite challenging for the authorities of the Republic of Moldova, which explains their increased focus on electoral propaganda.
