President Yevgeny Shevchuk held a meeting with US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova James Pettit. The Diplomat has held this position since January 30, 2015. This is his first visit to Pridnestrovie. Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski also attended the meeting.
Russia has always helped Pridnestrovie. The areas of assistance were various. Nina Shtanski told about it in a live broadcast of a Russian radio station.
The Foreign Ministry of the PMR hosted a meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski and the WHO Representative in the Republic of Moldova Jarno Habicht.
Pridnestrovie’s President received the German delegation headed by Authorized Representative for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia at the German Foreign Office Cord-Hinrich Meier-Klodt. Taking part in the meeting was also Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski.
The Foreign Ministry held a meeting of Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Minister for Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski with Director of the Conflict Prevention Centre, Deputy Head of the OSCE Secretariat Adam Kobieracki. The meeting was also attended by Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan, as well as other representatives of the OSCE.
Regarding the reports appeared in a number of Moldovan media about the allegedly certain restrictive measures on the part of Pridnestrovie against members of the European Union Delegation in Moldova, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR informs the following.
The event was organized by the Public Expert Council under the MFA of the PMR with the support of the Pridnestrovian State University and the Media centre “Eurasian Pridnestrovie”.
During the round table “Prospects for the development of the statehood of Pridnestrovie: modern challenges and threats”, the participants of the Public Expert Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR discussed issues of maintaining security in the context of functioning of the peacekeeping operation on the banks of the Dniester.
Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski met with Head of the Official Mission of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman. Taking part in the meeting was also Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov.
