Pridnestrovian Representatives Shall Take Part in the Work of Russia-Moldova Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

On November 15-16, 2012 in 13th regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova shall take place in Kishinev. Russian delegation shall be chaired by Deputy Head of Government of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin.

 

 

Deputy Head of Government of the PMR on issues of economic development and finances, Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Maiya Parnas and Deputy Head of Government of the PMR on issues of international cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski shall take part in the forthcoming meeting as independent observers with the right to discuss issues which touch the interests of Pridnestrovie.

 

 

 

 

In the frames of Intergovernmental Commission's work Pridnestrovian observers are determined to initiate discussion on a number of important issues of trilateral cooperation. In particular, discussion of technical and legal possibilities of opening Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Tiraspol, issues of resumption of traditional passenger railway routes through the territory of Pridnestrovie which existed earlier, and number of other issues which deal with freedom of transportation of people. Representatives of the PMR are going to make special emphasis on problem of lifting of blockade of export and import operations of Pridnestrovian economic agents.

 

 

 

 

Pridnestrovian representatives are also determined to take part in discussion of issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation in popularizing and promoting Russian language and Russian cultural values.
