On February 9, 2011, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vladimir Yastrebchak received OSCE Chairman-in Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of LithuaniaAudronius Ažubalis who came with official visit to Tiraspol.
The delegation which accompanied a high guest included Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in Office Giedrius Cekuolis, Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Philip Remler, Ambassador of Lithuania in the Republic of Moldova Violeta Motulaite and other officials. From the Pridnestrovien side the meeting was attended by Deputies Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Simonenko, Alexander Malyarchuk andVitaly Ignatiev.
Later in the day, President of the PMR Igor Smirnov received the OSCE Chairman-in Office in the House of Official Receptions. The meeting was held in extended format: in the presence of the OSCE representatives, diplomats from Lithuania and heads of the Pridnestrovien ministries.
