Today Foreign Ministry of the PMR hosted the meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Program Coordinator of the Office of the OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Alberto Andreani. Deputy Minister for Social Protection and Labor Elena Rusina also attended the meeting.

The sides considered vectors of interaction in such socially significant areas as  combating trafficking in human-beings and providing support to children without parental care. The interlocutors coincided in the opinion that the work in these areas should be based primarily on the training of highly skilled social workers.

When discussing the above issue, Deputy Minister for Social Protection and Labor Elena Rusina expressed opinion about expediency of involving Belorussian experts in the consultations. It should be noted that the Republic of Belarus has made significant progress in implementation of social policy aimed at support of children from disadvantaged families.

Diplomats expressed intention to continue constructive cooperation in resolving issues of mutual interest.
