Dmitry Rogozin: “In a difficult moment Russia will always support Pridnestrovie”

 “Now it is important to demonstrate to the whole world and first of all to the people of Pridnestrovie, that in a difficult moment Russia will always be there in terms of security of the whole region, the republic, in terms of political stability, diplomatic negotiations. We will intensify efforts to get out of the situation where, unfortunately, some neighbors are trying to introduce a tough social and economic blockade on Pridnestrovie”, said the Deputy Prime Minister, Special Representative of the Russian President for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin during a teleconference Tiraspol-Moscow held on the opening of the kindergarten “Kapitoshka”.

Ceremonial opening of the kindergarten dated to the Child Protection Day. The festive event was attended by the President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk, member of the State Duma, the founder of the ANO “Eurasian Integration” Alexei Zhuravlev, head of the Interfactional deputy group on cooperation with the Supreme Council of the PMR Sergei Gavrilov, director of the ANO “Eurasian Integration” Alexander Argunov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of the PMR Tatiana Turanskaya, Chairperson of the Supreme Council of the PMR Mikhail Burla. The Foreign Ministry was presented by the Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski.

During the teleconference the President of the PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk thanked the Russian Federation for its support in addressing the complex social and economic problems of the republic. “The Russian Federation as the guarantor of the country makes a serious contribution to the post-conflict settlement and successfully implements planned humanitarian programmes,” said the head of the state.

Dmitry Rogozin noted that the humanitarian project “Eurasian integration” is carried out on the initiative of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and it is his gift to all residents of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Today, on the occasion of the holiday, in the framework of the Eurasian humanitarian programme two kindergartens “Volshebnaya Romashka” (Magic Daisy) in Bendery and “Kolosok” (Spikelet) in Sukleia village will also be opened.

At the present time in the territory of Pridnestrovie during its first phase of the socio-humanitarian programme ANO “Eurasian Integration” the construction of 8 more social facilities are coming to an end.  They are due for completion later this year. These include a pediatric hospital, a building of chemotherapy, two anti-TB dispensaries, the medical faculty of the PSU and two secondary schools. Let us recall that on February 18, 2015 in Tiraspol the kindergarten “Buburuza” was opened and gifted to the Pridnestrovian side. Within the second phase a concrete plant has been built and the construction of a perinatal center has started.
