Vadim Krasnoselsky's Meetings with Russian Parliamentarians Continue, the Next One Was with Sergey Neverov

The PMR’s President Vadim Krasnoselsky continues the dialogue at the site of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. One of the planned meetings with Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, head of the United Russia faction, Sergey Neverov took place today. 

Taking into account the existing realities, working discussion’s central issues were measures taken to contain the coronavirus spread and vaccination as an effective tool for COVID-19 preventing and controlling. Interlocutors focused also on issues related to ensuring the rights and interests of Russian citizens and Russian compatriots living in Pridnestrovie. Parties talked about such important humanitarian aspects as Russian citizenship obtaining by Pridnestrovians in a simplified manner, the use of the maternity capital mechanism on the territory of the PMR, work resumption of the Outbound Consular Service Center of the Russian Embassy in Tiraspol. Promising areas of Pridnestrovian-Russian cooperation in various fields and Pridnestrovie's initiatives to intensify bilateral contacts, including through inter-parliamentary interaction were touched upon as well. Special attention was paid to recommendations formulated following results the of the March 17 Round-Table on Pridnestrovian issues held in the State Duma.

The importance of practical aforementioned aspects’ implementation was noted. Interlocutors discussed a number of work initiatives and proposals. Separately, were dwelled some points related to State Duma election and to voting organization and conducting on the territory of Pridnestrovie this fall.

Ending the meeting, the sides agreed to continue a working interaction.
