Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky Met with Dmitry Kozak in Moscow

Paying a working visit to the Russian capital, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak.

During the conversation, the Head of the Pridnestrovian state highly appreciated the existing level of contacts with the Russian side, which are according to him of an intensive and constructive nature.

Interlocutors held a thorough discussion on a wide range of topics, including current trends for general regional situation development around the PMR. They touched upon aspects related to the present situation within the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement process and to the peacekeeping mission functioning on the Dniester.

Special attention was paid to pandemic combating issues. In view of the emerging epidemiological situation, the Pridnestrovian President noted the population of Pridnestrovie needs to be the earliest possible COVID-19 vaccinated. In this context, an agreement in principle was reached upon delivering a 62 thousand doses batch of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to Pridnestrovie: 42 thousand will arrive in April, the remaining 20 thousand - during May.  

A thorough exchange of views on trade development, on economic and humanitarian cooperation, on consular and social support for Russian compatriots living in Pridnestrovie and on other projects and initiatives implementation within the framework of bilateral interaction took place as well.

Ending the meeting, the sides agreed to continue a working dialogue on the entire range of mutual interest issues.
