Today, Tiraspol hosted the meeting with expert Mario Viola invited by the OSCE Mission to Moldova to assist in resolving personal data protection issues that impede the interaction between Pridnestrovie and Moldova in relevant field areas. The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Stetsyuk and representatives of republic’s state authorities.
During the meeting, the OSCE expert was informed about the difficulties in the exchange of requests with the Moldovan side involving the processing of citizens’ personal data.
Following the discussion, the Pridnestrovian side expressed hope that expert’s situation analysis and possible practical recommendations will help establish cooperation between Moldova and Pridnestrovie on a number of field issues, and ensure the protection of citizen’s interests.
