Vladimir Yastrebchak meets the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Philip Remler

On April, 30, 2009 the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of PMR Vladimir Yastrebchak and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Philip Remler was held in Tiraspol. The meeting focused on the results of the 3+2 consultations which took place in Vienna on April, 28. 


Covering the items touched upon in Vienna Philip Remler marked that all the participants of the conference agreed to the necessity to resume the full-scale dialogue between Moldova and Pridnestrovie. 


During the conversation an issue of restarting the activity of expert groups of both sides was touched upon.  Vladimir Yastrebchak and Philip Remler were unanimous in the opinion that the resumption of a full-scale work of expert groups will be possible after the formation of a new government in the Republic of Moldova. 


Philip Remler laid special emphasis on the opinion expressed by the participants of the consultations in Vienna about the necessity to continue the policy of confidence-building between Moldova and Pridnestrovie. 


Vladimir Yastrebchak pointed out that Pridnestrovien side is interested in achieving results in the work of expert groups, primarily in social and economic issues and also in the work of law-enforcement structures.
