Today, the PMR's MFA hosted a meeting between Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Moldova Jaromir Kvapil. The Czech diplomat, who is completing his mission, made a final visit to Pridnestrovie.

During the meeting, Vitaly Ignatiev highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the Czech Republic, which, according to him, was established with the direct assistance of Jaromir Kvapil. The Acting Minister also expressed gratitude to the guest for the implementation of a number of humanitarian projects in Pridnestrovie with the support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

“I am deeply grateful for your attention to the Pridnestrovian side’s aspirations. We hope that the projects that have been implemented under your direct participation, will serve for further development of various contacts with the Czech Republic,” said Vitaly Ignatiev.

The two sides also exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including on the areas of development of cooperation with the European Union. They discussed the current situation in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian relations in the context of unilateral acts of Moldova, aimed at a comprehensive limitation of social and economic potential of Pridnestrovie.
