Zheleznyak: Russia will not leave the aggression against the PMR unpunished

06/04/15

Vice-Speaker of the Russian State Duma Sergei Zheleznyak said that Moscow will be hard to respond to aggression on the part of Kiev’s junta against Pridnestrovie, where there are Russian peacekeepers and 160,000 Russian citizens. It was reported by Novorossia News Agency on June 1, 2015.

We remind that on May 21 the Verkhovna Rada unilaterally denounced the package of international agreements between Kiev and Moscow on the transit of Russian peacekeepers to Pridnestrovie. On May 30, the former Georgian President Saakashvili was appointed as head of the Odessa region bordering with Pridnestrovie, who is known for the fact that in August 2008 he unleashed the aggression against South Ossetia, where the brunt was taken by the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

All this indicates that junta considers a military scenario against Pridnestrovie which causes alarm in Russia.
