Results of the Meeting of Expert (Working) Groups on Humanitarian Aid

Today, office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol hosted the meeting of expert (working) groups on humanitarian aid from Pridnestrovie and Moldova.



Issues of extra payment to pensions of the citizens moving from Moldova to Pridnestrovie for permanent residence, interaction of guardianship agencies of the sides, as well as joint participation of persons with disabilities in sporting events held in Moldova and Pridnestrovie were brought to the agenda of the meeting.



Head of expert group on humanitarian aid from Pridnestrovie Galina Sandutsa, giving answers to the journalists' questions after the meeting, told that participants had discussed several aspects relating to transmission procedure of documents of the citizens who move from Moldova to Pridnestrovie for permanent residence and plan to pass all required legal formalities on the territory of Pridnestrovie and further receive pension benefits.



As regards interaction between guardianship agencies, Galina Sandutsa informed that participants of the meeting had agreed to exchange regulatory framework of the sides at the next meeting and outlined the possibility of establishing the mechanism allowing international adoption of children on the territory of Pridnestrovie.



Galina Sandutsa noted fruitfulness of today's meeting. “We had a constructive dialogue. The sides arrive at mutually acceptable decisions and find compromises,” the head of expert group concluded.
