Nina Shtanski: “Russia’s help is considerable and provided to the whole people of Pridnestrovie”

Russia has always helped Pridnestrovie. The areas of assistance were various. Nina Shtanski told about it in a live broadcast of a Russian radio station. “Health care and social institutions of the republic have received help for more than five years to provide supplementary nutrition, a great financial assistance has been provided to the agricultural sector of the republic for concessional lending, the first results of which have already been visible,” – said the Minister.

“Today Russia's help becomes more widespread. It is considerable and provided to the whole people of Pridnestrovie in general, without division by nationality”, - emphasized the Deputy Chairperson of the Government. In particular, all pensioners in Pridnestrovie receive Russia's addition to pensions.

The Minister noted the broad public support among Pridnestrovians for that policy of Russia. Constructed new social facilities are equipped with the latest technology. Russia’s help is especially significant because Pridnestrovie does not have enough its own funds to carry out such work.

Answering the question of the radio presenter whether Moldova provides assistance to Pridnestrovie the Minister emphasized that Russia's assistance is provided not in word, but is targeting in deed as it is intended for pensioners, children, farmers, and other categories. At that, the Minister drew attention to the fact that Moldovan political representatives periodically make statements on the need to be attractive to Pridnestrovie, reading very peculiar sense into it: “To be attractive to Pridnestrovie, in Moldova’s view, it means to create as much hindrances, barriers and constraints to Pridnestrovians as possible, block further the economy of Pridnestrovie, make us poorer and, conditionally speaking, hungry and flexible in order to agree on something. And then, according to some Moldovan politicians’ intention, suddenly Pridnestrovie will change its political and mental vector all at once.”
