Individual entrepreneurs of the PMR may be affected by the actions of Moldova and Ukraine

The introduction by Moldova and Ukraine of the joint customs control at the Pridnestovian-Ukrainian border bears a number of risks to the economy of Pridnestrovie and even threatens the food security of the republic. Losses of the PMR may amount to tens of millions of dollars. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Boltrushko told about it in the interview to the Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency.

Since August 24, 2015 the Republic of Moldova banned the movement of the Pridnestrovian transport across the border between Ukraine and Moldova by the Order of the Head of the Border Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Advisor to the Chairperson of the Government of the PMR, Head of the expert group on the development of transport and road facilities Vladimir Trandasir spoke on the current situation in that sphere to the correspondent of the IA “Novosti Pridnestrovya”.

It is difficult to discuss such statements voiced by a high-ranking diplomat of the de jure European country. We are genuinely surprised at the multifaceted fantasy of Mr. Lazurca and we have learnt with interest about his alleged informal contacts. In this context, we believe that certain “signals” that Mr. Lazurca caught very likely could come from other civilizations, but not from Pridnestrovie.
