Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev held a video call with the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Klaus Neukirch.

As part of the conversation, took place a substantive exchange of views on the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova in the light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

On the Pridnestrovian initiative and under the auspices of the OSCE Mission, a meeting of Expert (Working) Groups on Customs Cooperation was held in a video conference format involving representatives of international partners.

In a video call format today a human rights subgroup meeting was held. Following the results of the previous meeting, the human rights ombudsmen of the parties agreed to discuss the rights of people living with HIV / AIDS and the possibilities of cooperation on this track.

Violating the previously agreed agenda the Moldovan side tried to use this platform for speculation.

This week, the Pridnestrovian side initiated four meetings of expert (working) groups: on customs interaction, telecommunication and postal services, development of transport and road facilities and a subgroup on banking issue.

The delegation of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being has been working in Pridnestrovie for the third day. The familiarization meeting between the President of the PMR and representatives of Rospotrebnadzor took place on May 13.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being, better known as Rospotrebnadzor, functions under the Russian Federation Government. Among other functions, its service includes the development and approval of state sanitary and epidemiological rules and hygienic standards along with supervision of their implementation. During pandemic, Rospotrebnadzor actively involves within anti-coronavirus activities. Its representatives are now in Pridnestrovie. The working visit is to last for about a week.
