The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders Michel Forst. From the Pridnestrovian side the meeting was also attended by the Minister of Interior of the PMR Ruslan Mova, the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the PMR Vladislav Zhuk and representative of the Prosecutor’s Office of the PMR Natalia Vasilieva.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR has noted adoption of the resolution titled “Complete and unconditional withdrawal of foreign military forces from the territory of the Republic of Moldova” by the UN General Assembly on June 22, 2018. In this connection, the Foreign Ministry points that the author of the draft document, as well as the mover is the Republic of Moldova – a party to the unsettled conflict and a participant in the trilateral peacekeeping operation that shares responsibility for preserving peace and stability on the Dniester.

OSCE Mission office in Kishinev hosted a meeting of political representatives from Pridnestrovie and Moldova Vitaly Ignatiev and Kristina Lesnik. Experts of the parties in several areas also took part in the discussion.

During the meeting, interlocutors exchanged views on the dynamics and effectiveness of practical implementation of the agreements reached, including a number of existing problematic aspects.

A large delegation of Ambassadors and members of diplomatic missions accredited in Kishinev has arrived in Tiraspol at the invitation of the Pridnestrovian side. It consists of diplomats from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia.
