The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk with a delegation of the Economic Service for CIS Countries and Georgia of the French Embassy in the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The delegation included Head of the Economic Service of the French Embassy in Ukraine Vincent Falcoz and Deputy Financial Advisor of the French Embassy in Russia Julien Gebel.

President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk met with a delegation of the European Union led by Head of Unit “Trade aspects of European neighbourhood policy. Trade relations with countries of the CIS and Balkans” Luc Devigne. The meeting was also attended from the European side by Head of EU Delegation in Moldova Pirkka Tapiola, and from the Pridnestrovian side by Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev.

As part of the First International School of Pridnestrovie “Geopolitics and Regional Security” organized by the Pridnestrovian State University with the support of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk gave a lecture.

Interview with Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev to the Turkish television crew “360 TV” was held at the PMR's MFA. The journalists were interested in the situation in Pridnestrovie, the nature of relations with the Republic of Moldova at the present stage, as well as some facts about the history of the Pridnestrovian state.

Asked about the role of Russia in the settlement of Moldova-Pridnestrovie conflict, Vitaly Ignatiev said that it was thanks to the actions of Russia the peace in Pridnestrovie was kept for over 23 years.

As part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian State University the First Pridnestrovian International School “Geopolitics and Regional Security” began its work. Leading experts of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies, National Research University “Higher School of Economics”, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and teachers of T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University will be holding a series of lectures and master classes for students of the School for four days.

On October 2, 2015 in Kishinev office of the OSCE Mission a regular meeting of the expert (working) groups of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on economic issues took place.

The sides continued to exchange views on a number of sensitive issues in the field of foreign economic activity of Pridnestrovian economic agents faced with administrative barriers on the part of Moldova.

Today, the main building of the Pridnestrovian State University opened the First International School of Pridnestrovie “Geopolitics and Regional Security”, organized by T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University with the support of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. More than thirty students and young teachers from Pridnestrovie, Russia and Moldova are listeners of the educational programme of the School.

Today, the OSCE Office in Tiraspol hosted a meeting of the expert (working) groups on ecology and agriculture.

During the meeting the sides "compared notes" on a number of topical issues in the field of environmental protection. Pridnestrovian and Moldovan experts shared their vision of the organization of activities in the field of protection of the ecosystem of the Dniester River.

Today, further to the agreements reached during the meeting of political representatives of Moldova and Pridnestrovie on September 25, 2015, the office of the OSCE Mission in Bendery hosted a meeting of the expert (working) groups on development of transport and road facilities.
