Pridnestrovian and Moldovan Political Representatives Discussed Range of Socio-Economical Problems

Working consultations of political representatives of Pridnestrovie and Moldova Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov took place today in Kishinev office of the OSCE Mission. Exchange of opinions on a wide range of issues took place during the meeting.



The problems of freedom of movement including those connected with motor transport and railroad passenger movement were marked among the basic topics of agenda. The process of fulfillment by Moldova of commitments on elaboration of coordinated mechanism of nostrification which would exclude the withdrawal of diplomas and school leaving certificates belonging to Pridnestrovian citizens was also discussed during the meeting. Besides, the sides discussed interaction of Pridnestrovie and Moldova in banking sphere.



The progress of activity of expert group on the issues of railroad transport and communication was marked at the end of consultations. Apart from the above mentioned, the sides agreed to continue activity on concordance of optimal and mutually acceptable form of plates for motor transport.  



At the end of the meeting political representatives attended the sitting of expert group on economy which simultaneously took place in Kishinev office of the OSCE Mission. Political representatives expressed support to the efforts of experts in their search for compromise decisions and marked high expectations from future work of the subgroup on banking issues. Firstly the subgroup should discuss the project of Memorandum “On the Interaction of National Bank of the Republic of Moldova and Central Bank of the PMR” submitted earlier by the Pridnestrovian side.
