Pridnestrovian Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs Voiced Support for Actions of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR

“Pridnestrovian Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs support the aspirations of the leadership of Pridnestrovie and of foreign office of the Republic in direction of strategic course of recognition of independence of the Republic, voiced by Pridnestrovian people during the Referendum of September 17, 2006,” reads the appeal, sent to the PMR's MFA by Pridnestrovian Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs (SPAPP).

SPAPP held a meeting dedicated to the problem of foreign policy investment contacts and activities of SPAPP. Vice president of SPAPP, Deputy Chairman of the SPAPP Council I.M.Cheban made a report on the present topic, information on cooperation was provided by the representative of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Pridnestrovie A.T.Mazniuk.

During the sitting members of the SPAPP Council resolved to consider close cooperation of SPAPP and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reasonable and perspective for socio-economic development and strengthening of export potential of the Republic. The Council intends to support the actions of the leadership of Pridnestrovie and of the PMR's MFA concerning negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova in the context of topicality of the issues of socio-economic nature in order to improve living standards of the population and increase the economical growth of the nation.

The members of the SPAPP Council paid separate attention to cooperation with the member countries of the Customs Union and Eurasian Economic Union. The resolution of the Council reads: “Economical cooperation with member countries of the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan) and Eurasian Economic Union should be considered to be export investment priorities for Pridnestrovian economy.”
