On March 11, 2011, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the opening of exhibition of pieces of art of the International Symposium of Artists KAMART and solo exhibition of Yuriy Salko.

Participated in the event were Assistant to the President on Education, Science and Culture Elena Bomeshko, President of the International Association of the Workers of Culture and Art (MARKIS) Galina Galagan, representatives of state administrations of Tiraspol and Bendery, participants of MARKIS and KAMART Symposium, museum staff, and representatives of artistic intelligentsia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was represented by Deputy Minister Alexander Malyarchuk.

In the course of the event, the PMR's MFA, MARKIS and KAMART also took stock of their five-year collaboration and defined priorities of further work. Continuous fruitful cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR with workers of culture of Pridnestrovie has been from the outset aimed at not only assistance to the development of arts but also at promotion of a positive image of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic abroad, and at closer inclusion of the country into world and regional processes of humanitarian cooperation.
