Nina Shtanski congratulated Vyacheslav Chirikba on the 22nd anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia

Today, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski sent Foreign Minister of Abkhazia Vyacheslav Chirikba a congratulatory message on the 22nd anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of Abkhazia.

In her greeting message the Head of the Pridnestrovian diplomacy noted that the signing of the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of Abkhazia became a fundamental factor for the development of the constructive practical cooperation between the parties. 

The message says, in part:

“The agreement which became a framework document reaffirmed the commitment of the peoples of our republics to universal ideals of peaceful coexistence, mutual support and assistance”.

 “The Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are truly fraternal states, actively developing relations in the political, diplomatic, social, humanitarian, and cultural spheres. It is encouraging to note that the provisions of the Agreement have been widely implemented in practice and have become a reliable base for a great number of inter-state and inter-departmental agreements”.
