Experience of Integration of Eurasian Space was Studied during Seminars at PMR’s MFA

On July 4, 2012 regular interdepartmental seminars took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. Except sharing experience, received during study courses at the Russian MFA, participants listened to several reports devoted to topical issues of Pridnestrovian foreign policy.

Study of integration structures and processes in the Eurasian space became one of the main topics of the event. Members of seminar noted that both the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan and the Common Free Market Zone of these countries is connected not only with benefits of trade, but also with shared geopolitical goals. In the name of these goals participating countries are ready to carry certain burdens in sphere of economics. During the seminar it was also pointed out that charter documents of integration associations don't say that only sovereign states can join these structures.

Members of the event also discussed issues of Moldova's negotiations on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement and studied experience of settlement of conflict in Northern Ireland as well as other topics connected with MFA's day-to-day work.

It is planed to hold seminars to exchange skills and experience in Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry on regular basis.
