UNDP Delegation Visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR

Vitaly Ignatiev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, held today a working meeting with the UNDP delegation in the Republic of Moldova headed by Resident Coordinator Nicola Harrington-Buhay. Narine Sahakyan, UNDP Representative, Doina Munteanu, Programme Manager, Vladislav Kulminsky, UNDP Programmes Coordinator, Natalya Dzhangdzhgava, Business Development Project Coordinator, and Viorel Albu, UNDP Representative, also took part in the meeting.



The focal point of the meeting was concerned about the discussion of bilateral relations in the framework of humanitarian and social projects.



The interlocutors discussed the activity being implemented by the UNDP on the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the area of ecology, education, health care, and small entrepreneurship. In the course of conversation Nicola Harrington-Buhay mentioned that she is proud of possibility for “UN family” organizations to improve everyday life of Pridnestrovians.



Following the results of the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized particular topicality of implementation of environmental and infrastructure projects in the Republic. The parties discussed the possibility of enhancing cooperation in other areas.
