President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk received U.S.A. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the RM James Pettit.

Attention was paid to the issues related to the current situation in the relations between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. In addition, they talked about the consequences of the impact of regional instability on the economy of Pridnestrovie, as well as blocking measures taken by Moldova and Ukraine. “As before, we are ready to build constructive relations with Kishinev and Kiev to lift the blockade against the economy so that it can function, provide citizens with all necessary”, said the President of Pridnestrovie. “I hope that our partners in the future together with us will look at the negotiating table for a compromise formula for the solution of these problems”, said Yevgeny Shevchuk.

“We want to express our support for Pridnestrovie, we want the prosperity be here, people live well. We support actions that contribute to the improvement of life in Pridnestrovie”, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Moldova James Pettit said after the meeting.
