Representatives of Pridnestrovian youth took part in Youth Intellectual Project “Commonwealth of Independent States”.



The goal of the project was to strengthen confessional and ethnic consent between the youth of the CIS through inclusion to traditional religions and cultures of peoples of Russia and CIS countries.



The project is organized as a competition in 3 stages, during each of them participants are to display not only intellectual abilities, but also creativity. Young people involve in most topical questions and try to resolve real problems which CIS countries and their neighbors are facing with.



The project consisted of three stages:



- On the first stage the participants are presenting their representative speeches which are to include short information about history, culture, religion, foreign and internal politics, national economy of the country, which the team is presenting;



- On the second stage the participants are to prepare creative presentation which is to facilitate for observers and the jury acquaintance with culture, folklore, national peculiarities of the state which is being presented by the team;



- On the third stage participants are to prepare reports and to discuss most topical issues which the CIS countries are facing in such spheres as political sustainability, culture and religion, combating illegal migration and crime.



This year Pridnestrovian youth joined the project on-line. Today the first stage of the competition took place. During the on-line teleconference bridge students of the Institute of History, State and Law of the T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University Elena Gladun, Irina Sirachenko, Ekaterina Grabovskaya, Dean of the Chair of Moldavian Philology of the Institute of Language and Literature Elena Oprya and representative of the Council of Young Diplomats under the PMR's MFA Vera Tabak, who is supervising realization of this project in Pridnestrovie, answered the questions of the jury.



The contest of creative works is planned for tomorrow. Pridnestrovie will present short video of the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel “I love you, Tiraspol” (http://www.tv-pmr.com/news.php?id=16374).



As it is expected, on December 7 the jury will study the reports of the participants. Pridnestrovian team presented their reports to the commission of the contest on such topics as “Religious identification and religious behavior in conditions of social mobility”, “Influence of labor migration on functioning of institute of family and on household”, “Specifics of functioning of the presidency institute on the CIS space” earlier.



The project is carried out under the auspices of Government and Legislative Assembly of Kamchatka krai, the Regional department of the all-Russian political party “United Russia”, the Russian civil society organization “Commonwealth”, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Kamchatka Krai representation of the International Slavic Council, Youth Government of Kamchatka Krai, civil society organization of the native peoples “Northerners' Friendship”



This year thirteen teams are participating in regional stage of the project which are presenting education institutions of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city, Yelizovsky municipal district and Vilyuchinsk city district. In video-conference regime are participating four teams: of the Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University, T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv National University and of the secondary general school of the town district “Palana urban settlement”.
